The Funky team

Our Funky team is made up of 2 co-ordinators (Amy and Nicky) and a Steering Group which is made up of people who perform at the Club and people who are interested in volunteering with us.

The Six Pack DJs have been part of Funky Club for about 17 years and are a much loved part of the team who are also an independent group of DJs (some of which have been hired out for gigs)

I’m Amy (one of many brains behind the Club Nights that you know and love)! I’ve been involved with Funky for 15 years.
I came along to a Club Night just for fun at first and I helped to run the Box Office once or twice. Then I felt like I’d like to do something on stage (but I wasn’t sure what). I wanted to use my skills in public speaking and I’ve been Compering since 2010. So I introduce people when they come on stage and thank them afterwards and I often tell a few jokes and keep the crowd wanting more! I get a real buzz out of that and I love seeing people having fun.
